#23 of 29 The Sixth Seal
Segment Six of Seven, Section Two of Four
WHERE CAN WE HIDE FROM YOUR SPIRIT?
“You have hedged (enclosed) me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it. Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I fell from your presence?” Psalm 139:5-7
INTRODUCTION:
The Sixth Seal ends the first 31/2 years of the 7 weeks of Daniel. During this time there are still moments left to turn to the Atoning Lamb of God, and repent. His mercy will overtake those who truly have sincere undivided and repentant hearts toward Him. He does not desire that anyone perish, but that they should have eternal life. John was a partaker of heavenly visions beyond the veil through the atoning blood of Y’shua and brings us to the culmination of all things and to the fabulous tabernacle of those written in the Lamb’s book of life. As we meditate on the immersion in the Spirit of John, the vessel God chose to focus on end time events and see and perceive the outworking of such wonders that which John was given the privilege of expounding upon is a miracle of expression to stir up hope, for WHERE CAN WE HIDE FROM YOUR SPIRIT?
Please take time to examine Exodus and the six ascents and descents of Moses. The people were so frightened by the thundering, lightnings, and sounds that they would not go near the mountain, The Lord knew that He could not allow them to come close to Him. His glory would have killed them. (Not only do we enter into the inner most place of His heart. Also, He lives in us, “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27
The clock is ticking at an alarming rate; time seems to have been compressed. He did say He would shorten the time for the sake of the elect. “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:22 Choosing life or death, blessing or cursing should be an easy choice, but as we will see in the Revelation of the Sixth Seal, men’s hearts are focused on power and greed.
THE SIXTH SEAL:
“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand? “Revelation 6:12-17
There is and always has been only one place to hide, and that is hidden in Him. I don’t think we can ever comprehend the terror and frantic state of life in these days. The calamities in these days are of epic proportion, the days in Exodus when God released the plagues are pale regarding these days of tribulation. The war games are over, the threats from one leader to another, i.e.: USA to Israel, the broken promises, the insidious ploys and power plays for fortune, fame and renown will suddenly mean nothing. And they will find NO PLACE TO HIDE from the One they have to deal with.
Their money and power are worthless, but if they had not hidden their hearts from the wonderful Lamb of God who atoned for their sins, they could be hidden in the secret place of the Most High God. The Hollywood movies, the Broadway plays, TV shows could never have duplicated this time and era of the end of all things. “For we know Him who said, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay says the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge His people.” Hebrews 10:30 The heavens rolled up as a scroll. His Word, rolled up like a garment and disappearing from the age of time on earth. The active Word of God can NOW only be reached literally in His presence forever. His love endures forever, His Word alone stands.
We know that all life comes through Y’shua. Everything on this level has been created by Him. It is written, “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, s that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” Hebrews 11:3
And so those that are frantically seeking refuge from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb will find none. WHERE COULD THEY HIDE? Their time is up; they missed the day of their visitation. It is my hope and prayer that anyone that does not know Him will not run to hide from Him, but run to Him while the clock is still ticking, and receive the day of their visitation and allow Jesus to dwell in their hearts. THEY CAN HIDE IN HIM FOREVER.
He carried us with Him in His bosom when the ATONING sacrifice was made, His precious blood is our Hiding Place.
